Dior’s cruise 2017 show journeyed to the Bienheim Palace in England for an outing of eclectic looks that bridged a gap between Parisian and English style. The fashion house, still without a creative director since Raf Simons’ departure last year, was designed by the Dior creative team with Lucie Meier and Serge Ruffieux at the head. The team focused on the iconic Dior bar jacket, remixed with a focus on the hips and also “bisected” as a mini skirt over long trousers.

The house also embraced tropical prints and patterns with Asian and African influences as well as equestrian-inspired jackets. Another focus at the show was the casting of Bella Hadid, who walked for the Parisian fashion house for the first time after being named a Dior Makeup ambassador earlier in the day.
