Set in Pierre Cardin’s Bubble House, the cruise 2016 collection from Dior was a bridge of past, present and future. As the show notes state: “Raf Simons, Artistic Director of Christian Dior, looks to the landscape and memory of the South of France.” The designer embraced texture and color for an outing of modern looks with silhouettes focusing on nipped waists, much like the iconic Bar Jacket and circular skirts that resemble a bubble.
