For Dior’s spring-summer 2016 collection, creative director Raf Simons embraced a light and airy mood with a collection of pale pastels in chiffon and organza. The designer paired the iconic bar jacket with feminine pleating at the hem while layering boxy coats over two-piece separates including a matching crop top and shorts with scalloped edges. Elsewhere, the Dior woman embraced knitwear that had a rustic charm with illustrated floral decorations. Then, Simons brought some graphics into play with bold stripes in pretty pastels. Finishing the look, models wore chokers with glittering pendants or scarves around the neck paired with pointed shoes and blocky heels.
