DKNY’s spring-summer 2017 runway saw designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne present a futuristic vision titled ‘Neo Soho’. Oversized proportions and baggy shapes fused the wearable and aspirational sides of fashion. Classic pieces such as blazers and suit jackets were transformed into jumpsuits or dresses nipped at the waist.
Elsewhere, the DKNY woman can look forward to slouchy shirt dresses, logo emblazoned bra tops or parachute style jackets. The onesie was also a main draw on the runway, sometimes embellished with fringe and hooded for a utilitarian look. Finishing each ensemble, Chow and Osborne offered up backpack shapes with bungee straps and knee-high boots made of Tech Milano jersey.
