I honestly could look at a bunch of photos of her in the same position, in the same outfit, in the same place and still be enthralled, that’s how good Du is.

So Wong Kar Wai. She’s gorgeous, I specially like the first picture
Adore the modern Geisha look!
xoxo Despite color
lol
It actually inspired by the movie “In the mood for love”
an old Shanghai look.
Absolutely nothing “geisha” about it – she’s just Asian. This is classic 30’s Shanghai, as mentioned before.
All of the above, PLUS, it’s great to see a whole fashion spread with all the pictures in landscape orientation. So cinematic.
I’m sorry but how many “In the mood for love” fashion stories does there have to be…
Yes, reminds me of that. But both models bring an intensity and style, and the photographer has excelled, so I’ll call it an homage and not fret.
Amazing. Different for Vincent. Somewhat reminiscent of Laurie Bartley, no?
Definetely yes, I found as “Fuddle” some light-details in common with Laurie Bartley…
I think now, Laurie is one of the greatest fashion photographer in this “cinematic mood”, so…good for Vincent Peters!

This is captivating. Du Juan has got to be the most beautiful Asian model.

This is beautifully done, but isn’t the whole “Lust, Caution” theme overplayed?

“In the mood for love” for sure, exactly like a story that Hugh Lippe did a while back, photo for photo except less gritty and more “Hollywood”.
