Lithuanian model Edita Vilkeviciute has been modeling since 17, and at 26, has appeared in campaigns for top brands like Calvin Klein and most recently Roberto Cavalli’s latest ‘Paradiso’ fragrance campaign. In an interview and cover feature with The Sunday Telegraph, Edita poses on Mexico beaches in vacation ready fashion for images shot by Dan Martensen with styling by Clare Richardson. The blonde opens up to the magazine about the secret to her appeal.
She tells the magazine, “There is no secret; a lot has to do with personality and luck. I could say I am more of a classic kind of beauty. Maybe it’s because I am outgoing and positive and people are tired of bitches.” She continues, “It’s funny but being in this business has taught me to love the things about myself I never used to like. I used to think, why are my fingers so long? My smile is so weird because when I smile my lip goes up. And my legs are not straight. Now even if people don’t like it I don’t care, I have become so comfortable with myself.”
