For his resort 2017 collection, Elie Saab delved into inspiration from Japan–ranging from the traditional kimono as well as more modern, pop inspired touches. A kimono transforms into a high slit gown or cropped jacket while cherry blossom prints cover everything from gowns to outerwear and more. Saab also introduced more rock and roll vibes such as leather belts over mini dresses or open shoulder styles. A tracksuit jacket embellished with sequins brings a luxe spin to the athleisure classic. Of course, there is the signature Saab dress work including romantic draping, feminine pleating and ruffles.
