Elisa on Egypt–Top model Elisa Sednaoui is the latest cover star for The Edit from Net-a-Porter, covering the online retailer’s pre-fall 2014 issue. Wearing worldly prints and fluid silhouettes from the likes of Missoni, Givenchy and Dolce & Gabbana; Elisa impresses on the streets in these images lensed by Koray Birand and styled by Tracy Taylor. A busy woman, she also recently designed a mother and child collection for Yoox.
The half Egyptian, half Italian model spoke about the current political situation in Egypt which has been unstable in recent years. “It’s going to take a long time and a lot of things need to change [in Egypt] – women’s rights, for example – before Egypt is a democracy.
