After being named the new creative director of Emilio Pucci in March, Massimo Giorgetti unveiled a first look at his vision for the Italian fashion brand with resort 2016. Describing it as a “pilot episode”, the 19 looks introduce a new Pucci woman with the house’s codes still in tact. Gone is the sexy bohemian, rocker chic vixen of Peter Dundas’ days, and now replaced with a more whimsical viewpoint. The wardrobe is filled with retro chic prints, lots of fringe and color-blocking with not a body-con dress in sight. For a continuation to this story, look out for Pucci’s spring 2016 collection during Milan Fashion Week this fall.
