Models Franzi Mueller and Katrin Thormann sport the new grunge style featuring spring brights mixed with plaids, oversized silhouettes and casual tees. Snapped against a sunny field backdrop, the duo rocks pieces from the likes of Dior, Chanel, Dries van Noten and Marni in the fashion forward images. A few recent editorials have been trying for a “new grunge” look, but this absolutely nails it. I do hate it though when faux fur skirts get cut off–it’s so rare anyone dares to use one, I’d like to be able to really see it.
This editorial has inspired me to try something. Put several items of clothing on a rolling rack. They should be a wide range of styles. Then I’ll close my eyes and put on whateverI could get my hands on without looking at my outfit until the last zip goes up!
