Romancing the Day – Pulling together a wardrobe of some of spring’s most romantic looks, fashion editor Raffaella Campeggi works with photographer Paul Schmidt for the May issue of Marie Claire Italia. Starring the doe-eyed Giedre Dukauskaite, the ethereal images highlight spring ensembles from the likes of Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana and Chanel.

  1. I don’t want to take anything away from Paul Schmidt but these tones are very reminiscent of David Bellemere’s work. That’s actually a good thing. And I think he’s captured Giedre in a very nice light. The portraits are exceptional.

    • Yeah all I could think of was Kristen Stewart…unfortunately, it kind of ruined it for me. Otherwise lovely photos

      • Ha! While I was looking at these photos I thought “too lazy, too somber”. Exactly the words to describe that Twilight girl. The photos are amazing but her face is filled with ennui! I find it ironic given that the theme of the shoot is romantic SPRING! She looks very fall/winter to me.
