Presented during Givenchy’s fall mens show last week in Paris, Riccardo Tisci unveiled twelve looks for the house’s spring 2016 haute couture collection. While the menswear looks were inspired by pictures of club kids and metal fans, these couture looks were inspired by a “liberated” mindset. What does freedom mean for the Givenchy woman?

In this case it meant not following a specific look or theme with the twelve Givenchy muses wearing embroidered capes, pleated draping and coats with military inspired embellishments. With the Oscars arriving next month, it easy to imagine an inky sequin dress modeled by Linesy Montero or a slinky sheer number on Lexi Boling on the red carpet.
