On her childhood views of modeling:
“I was that girl who grew up not seeing anyone who looked like me in magazines and videos. I was like, ‘I don’t get it.’”
On the positive change she’s seen in modeling:
“I honestly see more diversity backstage at shows, and I really love it. Beauty is diversity.”
On having 70,000 Instagram followers that she can connect with:
“It’s amazing to hear [from] some of them. A lot of them are people who look like me or relate to me, and it’s so cool that they now have social media platforms to connect with.”
