Gucci is in search of sunny weather with its Towards the Sun summer 2021 campaign. Photographed by Hanna Moon, models face rain and wind in these dynamic shots. Made with Christopher Simmonds‘ art direction, advertisements focus on bold prints, breezy fabrics, and statement accessories.
Creative director Alessandro Michele focuses on pajama dressing as well as fashionable headwear and belted waists. Bags include the Gucci Horsebit 1955, Jackie 1961, and GG Marmont in vibrant pastel hues.

“A new set of images captures Towards the Sun: a new selection that brings together key ready-to-wear pieces and accessories in lightweight, cool fabrics and materials from the Ouverture Of Something That Never Ended collection. Among main styles are chemise-style dresses, colorful printed caftans, bowling sets, new tunic shirts and other versatile pieces like Bermuda shorts,” Gucci states.
