J.W. Anderson Spring 2015–Shapes and structure are the cornerstones of a J.W. Anderson collection, and for the designer’s spring-summer 2015 outing shown during London Fashion Week, it rang true once again. Compared to past seasons, Jonathan Anderson’s latest offering is more wearable, but not necessarily less complicated when it comes to design elements. Seeing that he has been spending more time in Paris as the newly appointed Loewe creative director, you can see the influence. Oversized, floppy black hats bring a sense of drama to the looks which included boxy crop tops, relaxed trousers, mini skirts and deconstructed elements. Anderson’s signature was not lost however; off-kilter elements like unfinished folds, bundled ties and curved necklines added an element of unexpectedness to the looks.
