Jasmine designed the ‘Indio’ style, a sleek and updated version of the classic aviator. These oversized frames come in three different color ways. Choose from black/gold, gold/pink mirror as well as silver/blue mirror. Jasmine Sanders x QUAY Australia
How did you get the name Golden Barbie?
A while ago my sister and I were trying to figure out a fun social media user name. My nickname as a kid was Goldilocks because of my blonde hair and my friends would tell me I resembled a Barbie and the name stuck!
What was the experience like working with the Quay team?
It was amazing working with the Quay team! Everyone was so creative and full of life; a true Dream Team!

What was the vibe like on set shooting the campaign?
Shooting the campaign was so much fun! Between the location being absolutely breathtaking and the crew having so much positive energy, I couldn’t ask for more!
The new sunglasses look so cool, what was the inspiration behind the Indio?
I love aviator sunglasses because not only are they universal, they’re unisex, and I wanted to add my own personal touch to a classic design that I love so much.
What type of girl did you design the Indio sunglasses for?
The Indio is perfect for the girl that likes to have a good time, loves new and edgy trends, but still appreciates the classics.
Seeing that you are starring in the festival campaign, what are some of your favorite pieces to wear to a musical festival?
Of course the perfect sunglasses are a necessity, but I really love looks that involve a good bit of destroyed denim and pieces with a lot of bright colors, fun patterns, and light fabrics.
You have such a large social media following. What approach do you take when posting to Instagram?
When it comes to posting I like to share all of my happy moments, issues and topics that are important to me, and things I truly believe in. Social media is still a great tool for everyone to share their voices and be heard.
Where do you see your career in five years?
I’m really looking forward to exploring more options on the business side of modeling, make-up, and fashion. I’m so thankful for all the opportunities that I’ve had and I’m proud that my hard work is paying off!
