Jason Wu offers a muted color palette for the pre-fall season. With twenty-seven looks worn by Ming Xi and Julia Saner, the collection features elegant separates with shades of 60s and 70s fashion. Lace and sheer fabrics also make an appearance for an overall strong showing.
i would rather die than ever wear trousers with pleats.
nothing new
Nice, but I agree with Carla, nothing new. Love Julia and Ming though.
Jason Wu may not be an innovator but this collection is very nice, especially the last couple of pieces. And considering that it’s pre-fall, it’s an impressive collection.
Okay, so it’s not particularly groundbreaking or adventurous… but these are still wearable, stylish pieces.

There’s only so much you can reinvent, I mean, c’mon now.
We can’t all be crazy.

Lovely! Beautiful and wearable. Apart from the blue raffle-skirt number which has been done to death by the highstreet and designers alike. Time to let it go.

I don’t see why the collection needs to be groundbreaking in terms of style or design. This is a great example of fine workmanship, very clean lines, no-fuss designs, everything is very wearable. And that is what I am looking for as a buyer.
