Sander’s Minimal 50s – For spring 2012, Jil Sander designer Raf Simons was inspired by a modern look at the 1950s with an opening featuring a parade of white, clean lined dresses. Simons also brought some color onto the runway with paisley and abstract prints, sheer plaid, gingham and a few spring brights. The new season makes a bridge between the classic and the new with perforated dresses, proportion play and a new spin on the veiled hat.
I LOVE the simplicity of this collection. Loose tailored 1940’s elegance. Not easy to do.
wow, very…white 🙂 classic.
Too clinical and too matronly for my taste.
YUCK! What’s with the laboratory feel? And those weird white slips under those sheer dresses…. just not working.
love this style?
This is making me think of Grace Kelly. Elegant!
