Sander’s New Minimalism – After taking back the helm of her label over a year ago, designer Jil Sander’s eponymous label showed a strong outing of minimalist fashion for spring 2014. The silhouettes while not overly clingy embraced feminine shapes with a focus on the waistline as shown by the inclusion of crop tops and high-waisted skirts. A minimalist color palette calls for white and black as well as your rare pastel hue. Print was embraced with a series of multi-colored abstract shapes. Sander’s signature coats are worn over cropped trousers as well as chunky platforms and sandals.
