Julien Macdonald delivers a gothic, rock and roll inspired collection for his fall 2011 collection presented during London Fashion Week. A story of lace, leather and knits, Macdonald imagined his female protagonist as a rebellious teenage girl with penchant for darkness. Indeed, the runway was filled with its fair share of black and moody makeup, but there was also romantic undertone even to the darkest of looks with their ornate patterns and billowing, almost ethereal silhouettes.

  1. Wow, I love so many of these pieces! At first I was a little put off because of the dark clothes, dark makeup, dark background, but the colourful pieces are fantastic… I would love to own some of those dresses.

  5. Everytime I hear Julien Macdonald name, I cant help but think of those “fat” comments he’s made in the past. So classless. Its hard for me to concetrate on his clothes because of it.
