After being announced as Lanvin’s new creative director in March, Bouchra Jarrar unveiled her first runway presentation for the brand’s spring-summer 2017 season. Marking day two of Paris Fashion Week, the French designer focused on elevated wardrobe pieces for the new season. Pajama style dressing was a major focus. From airy slip dresses to relaxed trousers and tops. Jarrar even reworked the suit with languid and relaxed shapes. Elsewhere, she embraced floral prints in oversized, watercolor splashes. A touch of crystal embellishments and sequins brought a large dose of glamour to the collection. Finishing the look are diamanté sandal slides and strappy heels with curving lines.
