Cartier has announced the launch of its Panthère de Cartier bag campaign, which stars actress Lily Collins. In front of Zoe Ghertner’s camera, the house ambassador models for a series of studio portraits. The Panthère design includes a C-shaped lock with a gold or palladium finish created by one of Cartier’s High Jewelry sculptors in collaboration with Marlin Yuson, creative director of Cartier Leather Goods.

The Panthère is available in two sizes: mini and small. Stylist duo Rob + Mariel pairs the accessory with a black outfit worn by Lily that channels the iconic Audrey Hepburn, where she poses in flats. The bag also comes in various colors, including cherry red, black, dark green, and pale pink.

Finishing Lily’s look, Fiona Stiles works on the star’s flawless makeup with a slicked-back black hairstyle created by Gregory Russell. Thuy Nguyen also works on nails for the shoot.
If the panther were a bag, it would be this one, from its sculptural lock to its curved, feline lines. Everything is structured with a minimalism that forms a backdrop for the lock: a graphic panther’s head in profile, the result of a close collaboration between Cartier’s design studio and its High Jewellery sculptors.
