Nicolas Ghesquière unveiled his vision for Louis Vuitton’s fall-winter 2017 collection at the Louvre’s Cour Marly sculptural garden setting. The French designer focused on an eclectic range of styles for the new season–all with an effortless cool attitude. Spotlighting outerwear pieces ranging from furs to leather and tweed–the Louis Vuitton woman can choose from boxy cuts to volume-filled shapes. Trousers come in wool that almost mimics a denim material with piping and bold colors. As for skirts, above-the-knee styles get paired with chunky sweaters. Closing out the presentation, Ghesquière designed mix-media dresses with lace and floral brocades.
