Madewell gives a first look at its fall 2016 collection.The lookbook features denim paired with sweaters, long coats and light layers. From casual tomboy looks including plaid and culottes to slip dresses paired with leather jackets, these ensembles are inspiring for the autumn season.
About the new season, Madewell Head of Design Joyce Lee says, “Specifically for Fall 2016 we drew inspiration from the 70s. In denim it manifested into cropped flares and higher rises, for the rest of the line we played with texture by layering on suede, shearling, velvet, corduroy, etc.”
