To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Marc Jacobs joins forces with Denim Tears on a limited-edition Tote Bag. This is a full-circle moment, considering Denim Tears’ founder, Tremaine Emory, kicked off his fashion career at Marc Jacobs back in 2006.
Marc Jacobs x Denim Tears Tote Bag Campaign
The accessories’ design prominently features Denim Tears’ signature cotton wreath—a powerful symbol that Emory describes as “a talisman for black people” and “a call to return to what built this country.”
In the campaign visuals, model Aweng Chuol strikes a pose in the studio, allowing the tote bag to take center stage. Yohana Lebasi’s styling pairs the accessory with an edgy corset top, a sleek leather jacket, and the striking Kiki platform boots for bold fashion.
This marks Jacobs’ ninth collaboration this year, part of an ongoing series spotlighting iconic styles. It follows up on its Futura collection, which was released last month.
