Marc Jacobs brought a punch of 1980’s style to his resort 2017 collection presented earlier this week. From pins and pendants embellished khaki jackets to dresses flared at the waist for a prom silhouette to high-waisted denim, these looks are all about bold color and prints. Tying into the 1980’s inspiration, Jacobs showcased sweatshirts emblazoned with the MTV logo in retro typeface and prints. Long dresses with puffed up sleeves channel ‘Little House on the Prairie’ vibes while prints including camouflage, stripes, checkers and animal zigzags decorated many of the looks. For accessories, bows or scarves tied around the neck are paired with boots and platforms.
