For its spring-summer 2016 campaign, McQ Alexander McQueen tapped renowned photographer Nan Goldin for a series of candid portraits. Captured on location in London’s Spitafields as well as a McQ x WARP party, Goldin gave an intimate view of womenswear campaign star Mayka Merino. The menswear advertisements stars Taj Figeroa, Jonah Larrington and Zach Robinson. Talking about shooting the images, Goldin says, “usually I use my own friends in my shootings but to my surprise I made a real connection with these kids and really enjoyed them – especially watching Taj playing football with an apple.”
