Michael Kors proves that there is strength in dressing with his fall-winter 2017 collection presented during New York Fashion Week. The American designer focused on tailored jackets as well as draped fabrics for a story of contrast. Championing on neutrals, the Kors woman wears black, grey and tan as well as army green and plum hues. Fur jackets stood out, looking voluminous against a fitted dress or more relaxed fits. Coats with sculpted sleeves gave a wink to the 80’s. For the more glamorous moments, Kors offered up sequins and fringe such as the closing dress worn by Kendall Jenner. Other notable models casted in the show included Ashley Graham (the first plus-size model to walk for the designer), Taylor Hill, Bella Hadid and Carolyn Murphy.
