Milan Fashion Week or Settimana Della Moda in Italian is a clothing trade show held for buyers, press, and the public in Milan, Italy every year. It’s organized by National Chamber for Italian Fashion and partially by Camera Nazionale Della Moda Italiana (The National
Chamber of Italian Fashion). It’s a part of the global "Big Four fashion weeks" in the world, including the ones in London, New York, and Paris.
Milan Fashion Week – History
By the schedule, the Milan fashion week is the third one to begin in the order. The autumn/winter event is held in February/March, and the spring/summer event is held in September/October. The crucial figures in the promotion of the event which was founded in 1958 include Roberto Capucci, Emilio Schuberth, Maria Antonelli, Princess Caracciolo Ginnetti and Alberto Fagiani. Top Italian fashion brands include Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, Prada as well as Gucci.
