Miu Miu’s fall 2011 collection takes a turn for the mature this season with retro silhouettes revamped for a more contemporary audience. Designer Miuccia Prada’s vision for the autumn had models taking to the runway in a subdued color palette offset by playful prints, fur accents and oversize waist bands. / View the runway show in motion at Miu Miu

  1. In my opinion is a rather ugly collection. The model that closed the show to be operated ears.

    • you are a very negative individual,to dislike the collection is one thing but making personal hurtful remarks about the models was very uncalled for.
And i didnt mean to like your comment it was a mistake.

  2. There is not a single thing I like here.
I don’t like the color palette, the prints, accessories, that first white dress with the fur belt and sparkling silver socks under coral shoes… Good lord.

  3. Its always either bad or good with miu miu. I personally dont like this collection. Im so over the pointy sharp shoulder. Its wayy too boxy and bit unflattering. Woman with hips would look terrible in these shapes.

I do like the sparrow and flower prints, very whimsical, which is typical of Miu Miu. Overall, nothing impressive.

  4. the whole collection seems tobe borrowed from great grandma feel, just adding the shoulder pads for new shaping , really disapointed, no wonder the label is falling behind 🙁
