Miu Miu’s Playful Spring – For spring 2012, Miuccia Prada’s Miu Miu collection was all about the juxtaposition of opposites–the new and the retro, the long and short, the girl and the woman. The result was a parade of modest ensembles which embraced lightweight outer-wear, quilt-like patterns and lace skirts. Although somewhat understated, the play of texture and shape makes for an intriguing visual especially when paired with the colorful mini clutches and patterned booties.
I am disappointed with this collection.
It lacks the charm Miu Miu is so known for.
It feels like Miu Miu is going for a more polished, sophisticated look. I agree, I miss the quirkiness of Miu Miu, especially Spring 2010.

would have expected more from miu miu, yet some looks are killing it. aside from that, shoes are definitely not my cup of tea.

A lot of these don’t even look well-constructed! There are a lot of sloppy hems.
Not loving it though some rare peaces are ok.

i dont really liked how they matched things…there are a couple pretty things which could have been great if worn with something else…..and well, i was expecting something prettier from Miu Miu as Miuccia is ussually amazing.
