nice accessories story, I think this photographer is good, to bad its a c level magazine. I think this is the big mistake of good new photographers working 4 lower end mags never gets you into the big ones.
you have to start somewhere
you have to start somewhere
you have to start somewhere
you have to start somewhere
I’m curious, if a photographer doesn’t publish with lower end mags, how does he get noticed or get work with the big ones? Can you bypass the minor leagues and go to the big time? As someone starting out, I’d love to know the right path. Thanks.
You’re right; you start small. You have to make a name for yourself, at least online. You never know who’s looking at the images. On the other hand, have pride in your work and know what’s below you. Also take the time to challenge yourself to be better. Strive for the big leagues!

Soma’s a lovely magazine; lots of advertisements, granted, but what magazine doesn’t? There are worse mags you could get published in.
