Jeremy Scott has explored the colorful themes of Barbie, fast food giants, Looney Tunes and more during his time as creative director of Moschino. And now, for the Italian label’s spring-summer 2017 collection, Scott delves into the world of paper dolls. It is all about optical illusions as dresses feature two-pieces and gowns look like cardboar cut-outs. He also brought a call to ‘Valley of the Dolls’ with pill prints and sixties inspired silhouettes.
For more casual options, the Moschino woman can wear “leather” pieces which look air-brushed on. The runway cast was also full of notable faces–from Gigi and Bella Hadid to Irina Shayk and Taylor Hill. The spring runway show also includes a capsule collection complete with bags and iPhone cases.
