Caution. Women at work! With Moschino’s spring-summer 2016 collection, designer Jeremy Scott found inspiration in construction sites and all the bold colors associated with safety signs. Never one to shy away from camp, Scott sent models walking down the runway in bold looks featuring yellow caution tape, orange traffic cones and even red “shop” signs.
For the second half of the show, Scott changed lanes with a car wash inspired section showcasing feathery and fringe-adorned dresses that mimi mop heads as well as 60s chic silhouettes. And if that was not enough, the The Powerpuff Girls also made an appearance on colorful separates. Fun and playful as the clothes are, it is the accessories that really stand out. Hats that double as safety headgear and bags decorated with caution signs are sure to be photographed everywhere next spring.
