Casey Cadwallader, Mugler’s creative director, draws inspiration from the brand’s history, showcasing retro-inspired silhouettes while looking forward to the future.

The womenswear, menswear, and accessories from this collaboration hit the shelves in May. Check out the lookbook for even more styles. The campaign champions gender fluidity, transformation, and body positivity, with the limited-edition line taking cues from the iconic 80s and 90s runway styles.
One standout image features supermodel Jerry Hall leading the charge in a sleek black Mugler x H&M dress with a plunging neckline, joined by the stunning Imaan Hammam and Sora Choi. The trio exudes a captivating and confident energy emblematic of the collection’s bold and daring aesthetic.
In another image, a group of models shows off form-fitting dresses in neon green, sapphire blue, and coral pink, showcasing the collection’s vibrant and eye-catching color palette that pops with all-black ensembles.
When is the Mugler x H&M release date?
The Mugler x H&M collaboration will be released on May 11th, 2023, in select stores and online.
With the campaign, it includes a film and images showcasing an impressive lineup of models, including Jerry Hall, Imaan Hammam, Lidia Judickaite, Mariacarla Boscono, Luthando Ngema, Anna Ewers, Sora Choi, Xu Meen, Selena Forrest, Yilan Hua, Fernando Lindez, Ariish Wol, Aweng Chuol, Connie Fleming, and Cheikh Diakhate.

He emphasized that the collection is a tribute to everything that defines the French brand, featuring authentic Mugler elements like signature bodysuits, sharp tailoring, and worked denim. According to Cadwallader, the collection truly showcases its iconic designs.
Standout looks from the Mugler x H&M collab preview feature black bodysuits with sheer paneling effortlessly paired with relaxed jeans. Adding a touch of musical flair, the campaign film incorporates a music video starring Amaarae, Shygirl, Eartheater, and Arca, who put their spin on Stardust’s 1998 hit ‘Music Sounds Better With You’ to celebrate the collection.
