For Oscar de la Renta’s resort 2017 collection, Peter Copping created a ladylike outing with a diverse range of looks inspired by the house’s archives. A major theme of this season is florals with delicate appliqués, retro style prints and luxe brocades. The color palette is rich and varied with a mix of turquoise blue, emerald green, deep red and black. From cocktail hour fit and flare skirts to cardigan and pencil skirt combinations, and finally embroidered gowns embellished with sequins and lace, there is a look for almost any occasion.
