One of the major trends to come out of Paris Fashion Week is the cape. A dramatic outerwear statement, designers turned up the volume on the piece. At Lanvin, Alber Elbaz went for an urban nomad look with Moroccan inspired prints and billowing capes.

Capes–Creative director Clare Waight Keller was inspired by 1970s, bohemian style at Chloe’s fall 2015 show. Mixing menswear style with dreamy hippie fashions, Keller introduced a cape on the runway for autumn.

Capes–Set at a brasserie, the fall 2015 collection from Chanel went for “new bourgeoisie” looks featuring the label’s iconic tweed designs. Karl Lagerfeld sent out many outerwear styles for the season including a bold cape style.
