Everyone knows that the bride is supposed to dress in white, but for Vogue Japan’s most recent wedding special, the magazine embraces pastel shades. Photographer Nicole Nodland captures enchanting gowns in blue, pink and lavender shades from the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Prada and Houghton. Stylist Rena Semba selects a dreamy wardrobe full of tulle, metallic embroidery and lace for the photo session.

A pale shade of blue eyeshadow complements to colorful looks thanks to makeup artist Kim Brown while hairstylist Asashi gives the model an understated ‘do.
