Canadian actress Elisha Cuthbert graces the April 2015 cover from FASHION Magazine. On the cover, Elisha wears a Stella McCartney jacket, Alexander Wang top and pants from Lanvin. In her interview, she opens up about playing lesbian on the upcoming comedy called âOne Big Happyâ.
On playing Lizzy, based on lesbian comedy writer Liz Feldman in One Big Happy:
âI felt I had to do this. Just look at what Ellen went through 18 years ago when she came out on her TV series. Could you imagine how hard that was for her and how groundbreaking that was? To think that nothing has come of it since then until us is insane.â
On witnessing firsthand Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossiâs relationship from their collaboration on One Big Happy:
âThey are a couple that all married people can look up to. Theyâre very supportive of one another and they have each otherâs backs. When Ellen was busy doing her talk show and couldnât be with us, de Rossi stepped in. One could easily not care about the otherâs endeavours, but Portia really did. That was so sweet.â
On harsh reactions on social media:
âThe things that generate controversy are most interesting to everybody. Itâs almost like thatâs a way to figure out whether or not youâre culturally interesting.â
