In her interview, Julianne talks about her role as a woman with early onset Alzheimer’s in “Still Alice”. “I think there’s this idea about Alzheimer’s that it obliterates the self, but in my experience and in talking to the clinicians and the family members and the patients themselves, I felt like who that person was [before the Alzheimer’s took hold] was very prominent at all stages of the disease,” Moore says.
