Photographed by Daniella Midenge, power couple Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly land their first shoot together as a couple for GQ Style UK’s Autumn/Winter 2021 issue. The provocative story titled True Romance is inspired by outlaw films of the 1990s like Natural Born Killers. After causing a stir on the red carpet, Megan and MGK wear designer styles in a shoot made with fashion direction by Nicola Formichetti and styling by Hunter Clem.
Midenge’s images pay tribute to cinema with a high dose of fashion featuring designer looks from Dolce & Gabbana, Saint Laurent, Rick Owens, and more. For beauty, Andrew Fitzsimons works on Megan’s fringed hairstyle with makeup by Ash K and grooming by Sonia Lee. The couple talks about how they met, bonding through movies, getting joint tattoos, and more in their interview.
In her interview, Megan talks about falling for MGK, saying, “[I was] definitely open [to] love, but I did not anticipate walking right into my soulmate like that. I was obviously over the way I had been living, and those paths lined up, those doors opened. It was [as if] all the obstacles that had kept us apart all those years [had been removed] and we were able to finally intersect.”
