Shailene Woodley has a casual moment on the latest cover of The Edit from Net-a-Porter. Photographed by Victor Demarchelier, the ‘Snowden’ star wears a cropped Ellery top with Tome Jeans. For the accompanying spread, Shailene lounges in the season’s new denim. Stylist Catherine Newell-Hanson selects the designs of Miu Miu, Alexander Wang, Stella McCartney and more for the laid-back shoot.

In her interview, Shailene talks about politics in the entertainment industry. “I have a hard time having political conversations in Hollywood. Most people there are so privileged, they don’t see the 99% of America, because they don’t have to. It’s hard for people like that to see another perspective.”
