Craig McDean

Craig McDean is a British fashion photographer. He started as a photo assistant for Nick Knight. McDean then went on to work as a picture editor for i-D Magazine. He got his first major break by shooting for magazines like The Face in the early 90’s. Throughout his career, McDean shot for top brands such as Calvin Klein, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Tommy Hilfiger and Jimmy Choo. He also captured images for top publications like Vogue US, W Magazine, Vanity Fair, Interview and AnOther Magazine. The lensman shot many famous faces throughout his career including Madonna, Kate Moss, Rihanna, Natalie Portman and Jennifer Aniston. Craig McDean married Vogue fashion editor Tabitha Simmons, and they have two children together.
