The fall 2011 showing from Prada brought a sense of innocence to the womanly sophistication we normally see from big name labels. Low slung belts accessorized checkered coats and pleated skirts with python prints were found on shoes and collars. Aviator style caps were also paired with large glasses as “girly” style took to the runway complete with bags clutched sideways by the models like children’s toys.

  1. I am blown away!! THIS is Prada I know and love (unlike that awful Jail and Scrub nurse inspired collection for S2011). Gorgeous texture, shapes and graphics. I just love everything!!

But still no Freja!!! Where is she?!?!?

  2. I love almost everything about this. It started off simple and then kicked into high gear with those gorgeous and slightly strange coats. The little shift dresses and their grid prints are adorable, the use of fur was nice and the shimmering and sparkling end was incredible! Beautiful color palette, cute gloves and bags. I watched the livestream and the music was great, very sinister. Miuicca demonstrates once again her ability to take the old and make it modern and intriguing. The only qualm I have is that the majority of the shoes are clunky and unattractive.
