Prada channels film noir for the release of its cinematic inspired Holiday 2020 campaign. Renowned lensman Steven Meisel shoots a series of black and white images featuring Freja Beha Erichsen, Maty Fall, Mao Xiaoxing, Rudolfs Valbergs, and Merlijne Schorren. Collage style advertisements focus on accessories like the Cleo handbag as well as tailored apparel. Ferdinando Verderi works on creative direction for the shoot, which is based on a short story by Candice Carthy-Williams. In addition to images, short films set to dramatic tunes appear on social media. “It proposes perspectives – different angles, views and cuts around the protagonists of an unfolding narrative: Prada’s accessories, jewelry and leather goods,” the Italian brand states.
