Proenza Schouler Fall 2014–For designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough’s fall-winter 2014 effort for Proenza Schouler, the pair looked for a more sculptural silhouette than last season as seen by the opening looks featuring exaggerated and curved shoulders paired with nipped waists and full skirts. This silhouette is replicated throughout the whole collection with variations ranging from jackets, short sleeves and dresses. Glimpses of the eighties are not only seen in the powerful shoulders but also in the bold and bright color combinations. There is something thoroughly modern though about the prints which have metallic finishes with swirly patterns, almost zebra-like in their execution.
