Nasty Gal is an online fashion retailer launched in 2006 by Sophia Amoruso. The store started in Amoruso’s San Francisco apartment where she sold vintage finds on Ebay. Now based in Los Angeles, the retailer now carries affordable, on-trend and youthful looks. In 2017, online retailer Boohoo.com bought Nasty Gal for $20 million after it filed for bankruptcy. Throughout the years, Nasty Gal collaborated with the likes of Courtney Love, MTV and For Love & Lemons on limited-edition collections.
