Sephora is a French cosmetics chain founded in 1970 by Dominique Mandonnaud. In 1997, LVMH bought the company. In 1999, Sephora launched its online store. Sephora carries the most well-known names in beauty such as NARS Cosmetics, Dior, YSL Beauty and Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Sephora has over 2,300 stores in 33 countries worldwide.
