They Were Here – Photographer Deborah Turbeville and fashion director Valentina Ilardi-Martin are inspired by the classic era and lavish decor for their most recent collaboration published in Grey Magazine’s fall-winter issue. Starring Rose Smith, Tali Lennox and Caterina Ravaglia, the images take a look at autumn collections from the likes of Viktor & Rolf, Moschino, Stella McCartney and Lanvin with a shaded view.

  1. I feel like this is missing some of that Deborah Turbeville romance that I have come to expect..maybe she switched to digital?
    Something is off…

  2. I understand that the whole point of this is the fuzzy, romantic effect on the photos, but I just want to see Caterina’s beautiful face clearly.

  3. Reminds me of the Korean film A Tale of Two Sisters…or The Others.  I like the photography and mood…but yeah, can’t really see the clothes.
