Inspired by art movements of the 20s and 30s, Salvatore Ferragamo’s Massimiliano Giornetti presented a fall-winter 2016 collection that was not short on color or print. Although the collection opened on a somber note with an black cape and matching trousers, the rest of the show embraced bold hues ranging from magenta to yellow gold to red to green and beyond.
The Salvatore Ferragamo woman wore an A-line silhouette with skirts flared at the hem while outerwear played with zippers and high-necklines Even the accessories featured geometric shapes. Ankle boots with zig-zags, t-strap heels with stripes and bags with waves added another dimension to the colorful outing.
